Hoopa 2-Vehicle Crash at Highway 96 and Little Moon Lane Sends 2 to Hospital
Hoopa, California (June 22, 2020) – Two people were hospitalized following a traffic collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of Highway 96 and Little Moon Lane in Hoopa Wednesday afternoon.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, a 2018 Chevy Suburban turning from southbound lane onto Little Moon Lane crashed head-on with a northbound 2000 Honda Civic at about 4:35 p.m. on June 17.
One of the two injured victims was airlifted to the hospital for treatment of major injuries sustained in the mishap. The second patient was also taken to an area hospital via land ambulance for further aid.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is still investigating to determine the cause of the wreck.
