One Person Seriously Injured in Sacramento Crash at Florin Perkins Road and Weyand Avenue

Sacramento, California (April 12, 2020) – At least one person was hospitalized Friday morning after a traffic accident involving two vehicles at an intersection in Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol reported.

At about 10:11 a.m. Friday, April 10, a UPS truck and a silver Chevrolet Suburban collided at the intersection of Florin Perkins Road and Weyand Avenue.  The SUV sustained major front-end and left damage upon the impact.

One person was transported to a nearby hospital in serious condition. The name of the patient was not disclosed.

Police closed the roadway following the crash.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
