1 Killed in Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 580 in Livermore
1 Dies in Livermore Crash on Highway 580 near North Livermore Avenue
Livermore, California (June 5, 2020) – A three-vehicle crash claimed the life of one person Thursday afternoon in unincorporated Alameda County just outside Livermore, authorities said.
At around 3:50 p.m. Thursday, June 4, three vehicles collided in the westbound lane of Interstate Highway 580, just west of North Livermore Avenue.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and pronounced one person dead at the scene. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
Another person reportedly fled the scene before the authorities arrived.
No other details about the crash were given.
The accident remains under investigation.
