1 Killed After 2 Vehicles Crashed on Rosecrans Avenue near San Gabriel River (605) Freeway in Norwalk
Authorities Investigating Norwalk Car Accident on Rosecrans Avenue near San Gabriel River (605) Freeway
Norwalk, California (February 19, 2020) – A two-vehicle collision that took place in the area of Norwalk on Tuesday night, February 18, resulted in the death of one person.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, a Cadillac Escalade and a Honda Accord collided on Rosecrans Avenue near the southbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway off-ramp shortly after 8:40 p.m.
The Escalade reportedly failed to stop for a red light at the time of the collision. Due to the impact, a male party driving the Honda was ejected.
One unidentified victim died in the accident.
It was not mentioned whether or not there were other victims transported to the hospital after the wreck.
The crash resulted in the closure of the Rosecrans Avenue ramp to the southbound San Gabriel River Freeway and the Rosecrans Avenue off-ramp from the eastbound Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway for an unknown duration
The investigation is underway.
