Pedestrian Killed, Another Injured in Crash on North Bridge Street in Visalia

Visalia, California (April 3, 2020) – A pedestrian was killed and another was injured Thursday night in a crash on Bridge Street in Visalia, according to a local news source.

The deadly pedestrian accident happened at about 8:45 p.m. Thursday, April 2 in the 1700 block of North Bridge Street near Four Creeks Elementary School.

As per the report, two pedestrians were on North Bridge Street when they were struck by a vehicle.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and pronounced one of the pedestrians dead at the scene. The other victim was transported to a hospital in an unknown condition.

The names of the deceased and the injured party have not been disclosed.

Meanwhile, it remains unknown whether or not the driver involved remained at or left the scene as those details were not declared in the report.

The accident remains under investigation. Anyone with information regarding the crash is asked to contact police 734-8116.
