1 Injured in Vehicle Crash on Union Street and Franklin Street in Pacific Heights

 

1 Hospitalized after a Fleeing Vehicle Collision in Pacific Heights on Union Street and Franklin Street 

Pacific Heights, California (January 7, 2020) – One person was injured after a fleeing auto burglary suspects collided with another vehicle on Monday afternoon in Pacific Coast, according to authorities.

The collision took place at around 4:26 p.m. January 6, near Union Street and Franklin Street.

Police officers said a vehicle carrying suspected thieves, fled from the police when officers tried to stop their vehicle near Hyder Street and Green Street. The car then collided with a city vehicle.

The city employee driving the city vehicle was injured and taken to the local hospital for treatment.

The four suspects inside the vehicle were arrested after a brief pursuit.

No other details of the crash were immediately released.

The crash is still under investigation.
