1 Hurt in Placerville Crash on Springvale Road and Lotus Road

Placerville, California (December 10, 2019) – At least one person was injured in a traffic crash that happened in Placerville Tuesday afternoon, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

The accident took place at about 1:35 p.m. on Springvale Road and Lotus Road.

As per the CHP report, a Nissan truck and a semi-truck collided on Springvale Road for an undetermined reason.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and freed one person who was not able to get out of the cab. The victim had injuries to their neck and hands.

No other details about the crash were given.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
