CHP Investigating Highway 101 Accident in San Jose

San Jose, California (December 13, 2019) – Authorities said one person was hurt when two vehicles collided Friday morning on Highway 101 in San Jose.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver Toyota Corolla and another vehicle collided at about 5:26 a.m. in the northbound lanes just north of Oakland Road off-ramp.

Authorities did not mention the manner of the crash.

At least one person was taken to Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara Medical Center for treatment of lower back pain.

The Corolla acquired moderate front-end damage.

CHP is investigating the cause of the crash and the party to be held responsible.
