Highway 20 Tractor-Trailer Crash near Harmony Ridge Road in Nevada City

Nevada City, California (May 6, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a big rig collision that occurred Tuesday at about 11:50 p.m. on Highway 20 in Nevada City, resulting in severe injuries.

California Highway Patrol officials said the crash involved a Ford Ranger pickup truck and a big rig and occurred just east of Harmony Ridge Road.

The crash left at least one person with severe injuries, authorities said.

The big rig was towed away with a broken axle and the Ranger with major injury front-end damage.
