1 Injured in Multi-Car Crash on Foothill (210) Freeway in Arcadia
1 Hospitalized after Arcadia Car Accident on Foothill (210) Freeway near Baldwin Avenue
Arcadia, California (December 7, 2019) – One person was hospitalized Friday night after a traffic accident involving several vehicles in Arcadia, CHP said.
The multi-car accident occurred at about 8:50 p.m. Friday, December 6 on westbound Foothill (210) Freeway near the Baldwin Avenue off-ramp.
The crash happened when a car became disabled in the No. lane of the freeway. As it was being pushed to the right side of the freeway, two other vehicles crashed into it. As a result of the collision, one of the vehicles rolled over and trapped its occupants, including children.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and extricated the trapped victims from the wreckage. One person was then transported to a hospital in an unknown condition.
The westbound lanes of the freeway were shut down while the authorities investigated and cleared the scene.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
