Injuries Reported in Bakersfield Car Accident at Niles Street and Fairfax Road
Bakersfield, California (January 24, 2019) – According to a California Highway Patrol report, one person was hurt in a traffic collision that happened in the area of Bakersfield at approximately 9:51 p.m. last week on Thursday night.
The minor-injury crash occurred at the intersection of Niles Street and Fairfax Road on January 16.
As per the CHP report, a light-colored Jeep collided with a small SUV at the intersection for undisclosed reasons.
One person sustained minor injuries in the crash. The unidentified victim was attended to by medical personnel who responded to the scene shortly after the accident.
It was not mentioned whether or not the patient was hospitalized for further treatment.
The crash resulted in the closure of the highway for an unknown time.
The CHP is still investigating the cause of the wreck.
