One Hospitalized after Irvine Car Accident on Jamboree Road and Beckman Avenue

Irvine, California (January 20, 2020) – One person was injured early Saturday morning in an alleged DUI crash in Irvine, according to a local news source.

The accident took place at about 1:15 a.m. Saturday, January 18 at the intersection of Jamboree Road and Beckman Avenue.

As per the report, a grey Lexus sedan collided with a white Mercedes-Benz sedan at the Irvine intersection.

The driver of the Lexus was trapped and had to be extricated by firefighters. The victim was then transported by paramedics to a local hospital in unknown condition.

Authorities determined that the driver of the Mercedes-Benz was impaired at the time of the accident. The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

The accident remains under investigation.
