One Suffers Minor Injuries in Santa Maria Bus Crash at Betteravia Road and Brown Road
Santa Maria, California (February 21, 2020) – One person sustained minor injuries Friday morning after a school bus and a minivan collided at an intersection in Santa Maria, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash took place at about 6:30 a.m. in the area of Betteravia Road and Brown Road.
According to the CHP, the minivan collided with the bus at the intersection of Betteravia Road and Brown Road. The minivan was pushed off the road and into the agriculture fields next to the street.
One passenger in the minivan suffered minor injuries as a result of the accident.
There were no children aboard the bus at the time of the crash. The operator of the bus was unhurt.
The accident remains under investigation.
