Major Injuries in Rancho Cardova on Highway 50 and Sunrise Boulevard

Rancho Cardova, California (December 12, 2019) – A woman was hospitalized with minor injuries after a vehicle struck her on Wednesday night in Rancho Cordova, according to a police report.

The collision occurred at around 9:50 p.m. December 11, on westbound Highway 50 at Sunrise Boulevard.

Police said two vehicles were involved in the crash earlier when a woman walked out of one of the cars involved, and then she was hit by another vehicle.

The woman sustained severe injuries, and she was taken to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment.

No other details of the crash were immediately released.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
