Woman Killed, Rachel Hibbert Arrested in Car Crash on Tippecanoe Avenue and in San Bernardino

Rachel Hibbert Arrested Fatal in San Bernardino Accident on Tippecanoe Avenue and 3rd Street

San Bernardino, California (March 6, 2020) – 36-year-old Rachel Leah Hibbert, of Phelan, was arrested in a suspected DUI crash that left one person dead on Monday, March 2 at around 6:40 p.m. in San Bernardino, police said.

According to authorities, Hibbert was driving a 2018 GMC Sierra on Tippecanoe Avenue when she went through a red light and crashed onto a Kia Soul that was traveling west along 3rd Street.

The crash occurred on Tippecanoe Avenue and 3rd Street.

The female driver of the Kia was transported to the hospital with severe injuries, but she sadly succumbed to her injuries in the hospital.

Hibbert was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The crash is still under investigation.
