Woman Killed in Head-On Crash at 83rd Street and Central Avenue in South Los Angeles

Woman in Her 30s Dies in South Los Angeles Car Accident at 83rd Street and Central Avenue

Los Angeles, California (May 11, 2020) – A head-on collision claimed the life a woman in South Los Angeles late Sunday night, authorities said.

The deadly accident took place just before 11:20 p.m. Sunday, May 10, at the intersection of 83rd Street and Central Avenue.

According to the authorities,  a vehicle was traveling southbound on Central Avenue while another car was heading northbound. Both vehicles ultimately collided head-on.

A woman in her 30s, who was the occupant of the southbound car, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.

As per the report, no one was arrested following the crash.

An investigation into the wreck is underway.
