Joan Terlisner Fatal Aguanga Accident on Highway 371 near Wilson Valley Road
Aguanga, California (January 4, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol has released the name of the female victim who was killed in a multi-vehicle collision that happened in the area of Aguanga on Friday morning.
The fatal collision took place at about 6:15 a.m. January 3, on Highway 371 near Wilson Valley Road.
The accident began when a 2011 Nissan traveling northbound on Highway 371 rear-ended a Toyota pickup truck driven by a 64-year-old Hemet man for unknown reasons.
Due to the impact, the Toyota was sent off into the opposite lanes where it crashed head-on with a Mercedes driven by 63-year-old Joan Terlisner of Aguanga.
Officials said the Mercedes and the Toyota overturned after the wreck
Terlisner was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
Meanwhile, the operators of the Toyota and his passenger were not hurt in the accident.
The male driver of the Nissan escaped from the site on foot. Police described him as white, between 25 to 30 years old, wearing a black beanie and a dark-colored, hooded sweatshirt.
