Woman Hurt in Tracy Crash on Vernalis Road and Highway 33

Tracy, California (December 11, 2019) – A woman was injured Tuesday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash in Tracy, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident took place at about 4:44 p.m. on Vernalis Road and Highway 33.

The CHP said a gray BMW, a white Dodge Ram and a Toyota Camry collided on Vernalis Road for reasons still under investigation. The Dodge Ram flipped over after the impact.

A woman in the gray BMW was trapped inside the wreckage and had to be extricated by emergency responders. The woman suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
