Woman Injured in Santa Barbara Pedestrian Crash at Carrillo and Castillo Streets

Santa Barbara, California (March 1, 2020) – According to a local news report, a female pedestrian was hospitalized following an accident that occurred Saturday morning in the area of Carrillo and Castillo streets in Santa Barbara.

As per the report, the pedestrian crash happened at about 9:00 a.m. Saturday, February 29 at the intersection of Carrillo and Castillo streets.

Authorities said the woman was hit by a vehicle while she was crossing the street in a crosswalk.

The woman sustained minor to moderate injuries and was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. Her name and current condition were not available.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
