2 Hospitalized after Willits 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 near Willits By-Pass Exit 568
Willits, California (June 3, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances that led to a major injury crash in the area of Willits at approximately 7:28 a.m. Tuesday.
As per the report, two people were hospitalized after a cement truck, and a Honda collided on northbound Highway 101, just south of Willits By-Pass Exit 568 Tuesday morning.
Due to the impact, one of the involved victims was trapped in one of the automobiles. The Honda reportedly acquired major front-end damage following the mishap.
One person sustained major injuries while the second patient suffered moderate injuries in the wreck. The two victims, a Honda passenger and the truck motorist, were rushed to the hospital where they were treated and released.
Officials requested tow trucks to remove the vehicles away from the crash site.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
