Wheelchair-Bound Pedestrian Struck, Injured by Vehicle in Saugus
Man Hospitalized after Saugus Pedestrian Accident on Bouquet Canyon Road near Best Buy
Saugus, California (January 20, 2020) – A wheelchair-bound pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle Friday afternoon in Saugus, authorities said.
The wreck happened at about 11:35 a.m. Friday, January 17 in the 26500 block of Bouquet Canyon.
According to the authorities, a vehicle was backing on Bouquet Canyon when for an unknown reason, it hit a man who was in a wheelchair.
Paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to the man. He was then taken to a local hospital in an unknown condition.
No other details about the crash were given.
The accident remains under investigation.
