Bicyclist Struck and Injured by Vehicle on Cabrillo Highway and Jensen Road in Watsonville

Watsonville, California (December 28, 2019) – According to the California Highway Patrol, one person sustained major injuries in a traffic collision that involved a bicycle a vehicle on Friday afternoon in Watsonville.

The major-injury crash was reported at about 1:04 p.m. on December 27, on Cabrillo Highway and Jensen Road.

The accident involved a yellow bicycle and a white vehicle that collided on the highway for reasons still under an active investigation. The bicyclist was knocked down in the roadway upon the impact.

Medical personnel responded shortly after the accident and offered first aid treatment to the bicyclist who sustained major injuries.
