Veronica Garcia Hit, Killed by Several Vehicles on State Route 60 in Ontario

Veronica Garcia Killed in Ontario Pedestrian Accident on State Route 60 near Vineyard Avenue

Ontario, California (January 12, 2020) – The pedestrian who died after being hit by multiple vehicles Thursday night in Ontario has been identified as Veronica Garcia, 32, of Fontana, according to the San Bernardino County Sherriff’s Department.

The accident happened at about 7:41 p.m. Thursday, January 9 on  State Route 60, just west of Vineyard Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Garcia was struck by several vehicles on westbound State Route 60.

Garcia sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene at around 7:51 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.
