Trenton Mersola Killed in Riverside Motorcycle Crash at Central Avenue and El Cerrito Drive
Coroner ID’d Trenton Mersola as Rider Killed in Riverside Motorcycle Accident at Central Avenue and El Cerrito Drive
Riverside, California (May 7, 2020) – 20-year-old Trenton Mersola, of Riverside, has been identified as the victim who died following a motorcycle collision Tuesday afternoon in Riverside.
According to a Riverside Police Department report, Mersola was riding his 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on Central Avenue and into the El Cerrito intersection when he collided with a 2009 Toyota Rav-4 that was turning left on a green arrow.
Mersola reportedly failed to stop for a red light prior to the 4:10 p.m. collision.
Sadly, Mersola was pronounced deceased at the crash site.
The Rav-4 motorist, who was identified as a 22-year-old Riverside woman, was not hurt in the crash.
Neither drugs nor alcohol were suspected factors in the accident. An investigation into the crash is underway.
