Minor Injuries Reported in Escondido Car Crash on Highway 78 near Nordahl Road

Escondido, California (December 10, 2019) – A minor injury collision was reported on Monday afternoon in Escondido, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident happened at about 1:56 p.m. Monday, December 9, on Highway 78, west of Nordahl Road.

Authorities said two cars collided for reasons yet to be determined.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to render aid to the crash victims. The number of injured parties and their current condition was not immediately provided.

The vehicles were towed away from the scene.

Officials issued a SigAlert closing lanes 2, 3 and 4 as a result of the collision. All lanes were opened as of 3:04 p.m.
