1 Hurt in Aptos Car Accident at Freedom Boulevard and Hames Road

Aptos, California (February 3, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Aptos.

The collision happened at about 8:11 p.m. at the Freedom Boulevard and Hames Road intersection.

As per the CHP officials, a Mercedes and a 4-door sedan crashed for reasons still under investigation.

Responding firefighters along with medical personnel responded to the scene and found three persons at the location. One person was treated for minor injuries. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.

A child, around 3 or 4 years, was reportedly riding one of the vehicles when the collision happened.

No further details concerning this crash were provided.

An investigation is underway.
