Santa Ysabel Car Crash at Highway 79 and Mesa Grande Road Injured 1 Victim
Santa Ysabel, California (April 5, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a minor injury collision that took place at an intersection in Santa Ysabel Wednesday afternoon.
On April 1, at around 12:45 p.m., officers received a report of a crash involving a white Toyota sedan and a white Mitsubishi SUV at the intersection of Highway 79 and Mesa Grande Road.
Due to the impact of the collision, half of the Toyota went into a ditch.
The CHP found one of the involved cars abandoned after the wreck.
One unidentified victim sustained minor injuries in the accident. The patient was attended to by medical personnel along with fire department officials who responded at the scene shortly after the mishap.
Meanwhile, it was not clear whether or not the injured party was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
The CHP is still investigating to identify the cause of the accident.
