Possible Injuries Reported After Bicyclist Struck by Vehicle on Highway 85 at Bernal Road in San Jose

San Jose, California (March 22, 2020) – One unidentified victim was possibly injured following a bicycle accident that happened in San Jose Friday night, March 20.

According to a California Highway Patrol report, a white Toyota Fortuner struck a bicyclist on the southbound lanes of SR-85 at the Bernal Road off-ramp at around 10:30 p.m.

The manner in which the collision occurred was not disclosed at the time of the report.

Due to the impact of the collision, the bicyclist was ejected from the bike.

Paramedics responded at the crash site and rendered aid to the injured victim.
