Child Hospitalized after Santa Barbara Crash on Olive Street
Santa Barbara, California (February 18, 2020) – A child was on Sunday afternoon hurt after he was pinned between two cars in Santa Barbara, according to authorities.
Emergency crews responded to the crash at about 2:25 p.m. February 16, at a residence in the 1800 block of Olive Street.
Police said one of the residents was working on an old model car when it accidentally slipped into gear and drove off the garage. The vintage vehicle eventually crashed a child against an SUV parked in the driveway.
The child was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with moderate injuries.
More details about the crash were not available.
The crash remains under investigation.
