Several Hurt When Vehicle Slams Into Goodwill Store in Vacaville

Car Crashes Into Goodwill Store in Vacaville Leading to Injuries

Vacaville, California (March 7, 2020) – Several people sustained injuries after a vehicle slammed into a Goodwill store Friday afternoon in Vacaville, authorities said.

A woman, whose name was not immediately disclosed, was having problems with her Jeep when she backed into another vehicle. The Jeep then slammed into the store and ended up several feet inside.

A woman was trapped under the wreckage inside and was freed by firefighters.

The accident resulted in injuries. Authorities said none of the injuries were serious.

Neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected factors in the accident.

An investigation into the crash is underway.

A person on foot is no match for a large, multi-ton vehicle. Pedestrians have virtually no protection when they are hit by cars, motorcycles, trucks, and other vehicles. Sadly, this often leads to catastrophic injuries and/or death.
