Santa Fe Springs Truck Accident on Interstate 605 Freeway Resulted in Unspecified Injuries
Santa Fe Springs, California (March 25, 2020) – A traffic collision involving a bus and a semi-tractor trailer truck in Santa Fe Springs Wednesday morning resulted in unspecified injuries, a local news source reported.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, the grey Ford Crown Victoria bus and the truck collided on the Interstate 605 Freeway near the Interstate 5 Freeway connection at about 5:43 a.m.
All wounded victims were attended to by the Downey Fire Department and then rushed to an area hospital by an ambulance. Officials said at least one person on the bus sustained unspecified injuries in the crash.
The exact numbers of the wounded victims and their identities have not yet been released to this time.
Meanwhile, the bus was blocking the HOV lane and required a tow truck to remove it from the crash site.
