Major Injuries Reported in Bay Point Car Accident on Highway 4 near San Marco Boulevard

Bay Point, California (May 21, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Wednesday night multi-vehicle accident that resulted in major injuries in Bay Point.

At about 10:15 p.m., on May 20, the California Highway Patrol responded to the crash on eastbound Highway 4, just west of San Marco Boulevard.

Four vehicles, including a gray Mazda 3, collided on the roadway for reasons that are yet to be known, said the authorities.

Major injuries were sustained in the crash. An unknown number of patients were transported to a hospital for treatment.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicle from the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
