Man Hospitalized after Santee Pedestrian Crash on Mast Boulevard near Magnolia Avenue

Santee, California (March 9, 2020) – A male pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle on Monday morning in Santee, police reported.

As per the report, the man was hit by SUV on westbound Mast Boulevard near Magnolia Avenue for unknown reasons.

The involved motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the law.

Paramedics responded at the scene shortly after the wreck and found the pedestrian unresponsive and unconscious. The victim, who suffered unspecified injuries, was taken Sharp Memorial Hospital by ambulance for medication.

The crash resulted in the closure of the westbound side of Mast Boulevard at Park Center Drive as investigation and cleanup took place.

The investigation is underway.
