Man Sustains Major injuries in San Gregorio Motorcycle Accident on Highway 1 near Pomponio Beach
San Gregorio, California (April 9, 2020) – According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, a male motorcyclist sustained major injuries following a traffic accident that happened on Highway 1, just south of Pomponio Beach in San Gregorio at about 3:35 p.m. Wednesday, April 8.
The CHP said the man slammed into a vehicle while riding his motorcycle southbound on the highway for reasons still under an active investigation.
Due to the impact of the collision, the rider was ejected from his bike and was found laying on the right-hand shoulder of the highway.
The unidentified motorcyclist sustained major injuries in the wreck. The patient was transported to an area hospital by an ambulance for treatment.
The investigators are gathering more evidence to determine the cause of the accident.
