San Francisco Man Sustains Major Injuries in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 1 in Santa Cruz County
26-Year-old San Francisco Man Seriously Injured in Santa Cruz County Motorcycle Crash on Highway 1 near Swanton Road
Santa Cruz County, California (April 16, 2020) – A traffic crash in Santa Cruz County left a motorcyclist with serious injuries Tuesday, April 14, the California Highway Patrol said.
The motorcyclist, a 26-year-old San Francisco man, was traveling on Highway 1 when he crossed over double yellow lines to pass a Honda Pilot.
The Honda reportedly turned left as the motorcyclist tried to pass the car. The rider finally slammed into the car.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found the rider suffering from major injuries. The name of the victim and their condition at this time were not disclosed.
The crash remains under investigation.
