Rudy Bonilla Killed in Lake Mathews Car Accident at La Sierra Avenue and Lake Crest Drive 

Lake Mathews, California (April 9, 2020) – 31-year-old Rudy Benitez Bonilla, of Perris, has been identified as the victim who died following a traffic collision that happened north of Lake Mathews shortly after 7:00 a.m. April 8, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.

Mr. Bonilla died at around 7:20 a.m. after two vehicles crashed at the intersection of La Sierra Avenue and Lake Crest Drive Wednesday morning.

Another unidentified person sustained minor injuries following the wreck.

More details about the accident will be released immediately after the California Highway Patrol Riverside Office completes the investigation.
