1 Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash at Gilman Springs Road and Eden Hot Springs Road in Moreno Valley
Riverside, California (May 18, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances that led to a fatal multi-vehicle crash at Gilman Springs Road and Eden Hot Springs Road in Moreno Valley at about 10:47 p.m. May 17.
One person died at the scene after a big rig crashed head-on with a pickup truck at the intersection in Riverside County on Sunday night. Pending notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Officials said three other automobiles of unspecified type were involved in the mishap.
Due to the impact of the collision, the truck caught fire.
Meanwhile, four other victims were treated at the scene by paramedics and released.
The fatal accident remains under investigation by the CHP.
