Ridgecrest Man Killed in Coso Junction Crash on Highway 395

One Man Killed, and Three Injured in Highway 395 Rollover Crash near Coso Junction

Coso Junction, California – A rollover accident that happened near the Coso Junction on Highway 395 killed one man on Monday evening.

On August 31, at about 5:42 pm, at least three people were injured and hospitalized following the accident.

The authorities stated that a black colored 2005 Chevrolet Suburban was traveling on the highway when for unknown reasons it drifted into the median.

The driver then turned back across both the lanes ending up in a dirt shoulder and then the vehicle rolled over multiple times. A nearby barbed wire fence was also damaged due to the vehicle.

Unfortunately, the driver of the Chevrolet, a 29-year-old man from Ridgecrest died in the accident.

Other people who were in the vehicle sustained injuries. They were identified as residents of Ridgecrest as Julie Perry, 39 who sustained an injury to her face tissue, Ruth Johns, 51, who suffered a shoulder injury, and Michael Deleon, 47, had a cut to his head.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.
