Elderly Man Walking Bicycle on Jefferson Street Injured in Napa Accident Wednesday

Napa, California – A 77-year-old man was pushing his bicycle on Jefferson Street when he met with an accident with a vehicle at Rubicon Street on Wednesday morning.

The Napa police have stated that the accident occurred at around 11:30 pm on September 2

The elderly man was walking east across the street in a crosswalk when he was hit by a southbound vehicle.

The emergency team rushed to the accident site where they attended the pedestrian who was left unconscious because of the accident. He was taken to the Valley Medical Center for treatment of his critical injuries.

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

The police stated that there was no connection between speed and distraction in the accident.

The investigation is still ongoing.
