Rider Injured in Carmichael Motorcycle Accident at Marconi and Walnut Avenues

Carmichael, California (January 30, 2020) – A motorcycle collision that took place in the area of Carmichael at about 11:06 a.m. last week on Friday injured one victim.

The motorcycle crash happened on January 24 at the intersection of Marconi and Walnut avenues.

As per the California Highway Patrol, the accident involved a white Ford F-25 pickup truck and a red motorcycle. The manner in which the collision occurred was not immediately disclosed at the time of the report.

The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries in the mishap. The unidentified victim was attended to by medical personnel who responded to the scene shortly after the wreck.

It was not clear whether or not the pickup driver of the involved vehicle stopped after the accident and cooperated with the investigation.

The crash resulted in the closure of the northbound lanes of the highway for an unknown time.

The investigation is underway.
