Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Hesperia Collision on Sunday Afternoon

Hesperia, California – Following a Hesperia accident between a motorcycle and a vehicle that took place on Amargosa Road on Sunday afternoon, one person sustained major injuries.

A motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Amargosa Road when the rider lost control around a curve and drifted into the dirt shoulder, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said.

The rider was ejected from the motorcycle and crashed into the side of a white SUV traveling southbound.

At around 1:51 pm, the emergency crew responded to the accident and located the rider along the east shoulder of Amargosa Road, near Key Pointe Drive.

The motorcyclist was flown to the hospital sustaining major to critical injuries.

However, the driver of the SUV was not injured.

An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
