Psyoth Sao Killed, Larry Lindsey Arrested after Pedestrian Accident in Modesto

Psyoth Sao Dies after Modesto Pedestrian Crash at Coffee Road and Ensenada Drive; Larry Lindsey Arrested

Modesto, California (February 18, 2020) – A suspect believed to have been driving under the influence of drugs has been arrested following an auto-pedestrian accident on Saturday night in Modesto, according to police.

The deadly accident occurred in the area of Coffee Road and Ensenada Drive at about 9:30 p.m. February 15.

The police said Larry Lindsey, of Riverbank, was driving a 2015 Nissan Sentra southbound on Coffee Road when he hit Psyoth Sao, 36, who was not in the crosswalk.

Sao was pronounced dead at the scene by the authorities.

Lindsey remained on the scene and was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.

The crash remains under investigation, and the police are urging any witnesses with information about the collision to contact Officer Randy Radeuchel of Modesto PD at 209-572-9592.

“A person on foot is no match for a large, multi-ton vehicle. Pedestrians have virtually no protection when they are hit by cars, motorcycles, trucks, and other vehicles” Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, Mr. Arin Khodaverdian, believes. “Sadly, this often leads to catastrophic injuries including temporary or lifelong disability, severe disfigurement, severe physical and emotional pain, and/or death.” He adds.

Mr. Khodaverdian has worked for many years as a wrongful death and personal injury attorney. He and his team of attorneys have helped thousands of injury victims and their families recover over $100 million in compensation. “In one case, we recovered a 7-figure settlement within 11 business days of being hired by the family of a victim who was killed by a negligent driver.”

Swift action by an experienced attorney helps preserve evidence, interview witnesses, and begin to pursue those responsible for the incident.

Mr. Khodaverdian is personally available for free consultations 24/7 by calling 866-773-0222.
