Postal Worker Injured in Yucaipa Crash on Bryant Street and Avenue D; Francisco Florez Arrested

Yucaipa, California – A Yucaipa accident that took place on Saturday evening, involving a suspected DUI driver, a US postal carrier was injured according to the authorities.

The accident took place in the area of Bryant Street and Avenue D that led to the arrest of Francisco V. Florez, 51, of Yucaipa.

On October 3, at around 5:49 pm, Florez was under the influence of alcohol when he collided with the postal carrier, according to the police.

The postal carrier was rushed to the hospital while he remained conscious during the transport.

Florez was booked at the Central Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.

The accident is under investigation.
