Police Investigate Fatal Malibu Hit-And-Run Crash Involving Pedestrian

Malibu, California – Police have conducted a search for the driver involved in the Malibu hit-and-run accident that killed one pedestrian on Sunday night.

On October 4, at around 10:34 pm, a person was hit by a vehicle on the Pacific Coast Highway near Las Flores Canyon Road, according to the LA County Sheriff’s officials.

The vehicle was westbound on PCH when the accident took place. However, the driver fled the scene in a vehicle described as a dark-colored sedan.

The victim died in the accident.

Due to the accident, the westbound lanes of PCH were closed at Las Flores for the investigators to examine the case.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
