Pedestrian Killed in Hesperia Train Accident at Santa Fe Avenue and Lime Street

Hesperia, California (May 10, 2020) – One person was killed on Saturday afternoon in a train crash in Hesperia, according to police.

At about 4:52 p.m., the authorities responded to the deadly crash in the area of Santa Fe Avenue and Lime Street.

According to the officials, a man was struck by a train on the railroads in unclear circumstances.

First responders arrived at the scene and declared the man dead at the scene.

Train traffic in the area was stopped for an unknown period by the BNSF.

More details about the crash were not immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
