Serious Injuries Reported After Watsonville Pedestrian Crash at Green Valley and Minto Roads in Santa Cruz County
Watsonville, California (June 10, 2020) – A 33-year-old woman was struck and seriously injured by a vehicle on Green Valley Road at Minto Road in Watsonville just about 7:42 p.m. Monday
As per the California Highway Patrol dispatch, the woman was walking in the eastbound lane of the highway when she was hit by a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a 53-year-old man east on Green Valley Road Monday night.
The pedestrian was rushed to Natividad Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.
The Jeep driver, a Watsonville resident, suffered minor injuries following the wreck.
The CHP is still investigating the cause of the accident.
