1 Killed in Fontana Pedestrian Accident on Sierra Avenue near 210 Freeway

Fontana, California (May 18, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a northbound vehicle while walking on Sierra Avenue near the Sierra Lakes Golf Club in Fontana at approximately 1:02 a.m.

The circumstances that led to the collision early Saturday morning near the 210 Freeway were not immediately established at the time of the report.

The victim was found laying on the highway by medical personnel who responded at the scene shortly after 1:02 a.m.

Sadly, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Pending notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.

It was not mentioned whether or not the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

The fatal accident remains under investigation.
