Authorities Investigating Fontana Pedestrian Accident on 10 Freeway near Citrus Avenue
San Bernardino, California (January 16, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in the area of Fontana on Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly accident happened on the Interstate 10 Freeway near Citrus Avenue in San Bernardino.
The CHP said the unspecified pedestrian was hit by a 2003 Toyota Corolla on the highway for unknown reasons.
The victim died in the accident.
A person riding in the Corolla sustained unspecified injuries in the wreck. The patient was then rushed to Kaiser Fontana for medication.
Limited details regarding the crash have been released to this time.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the fatal accident.
