West Covina, California (May 29, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a fatal pedestrian accident that took place on San Bernardino (10) Freeway, near the Azusa Avenue in West Covina at about 4:30 a.m. Thursday.
A pedestrian died at the scene after being struck by a vehicle while walking on the highway Thursday morning.
Pending notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
More details will be released immediately after the CHP completes the investigation.
