Fullerton, California (January 3, 2020) – A 60-year-old male party was struck and killed by an alleged hit-and-run driver in Fullerton on Thursday evening

The deadly collision, which happened shortly before 6:00 p.m., occurred at Lemon Street and Santa Fe Avenue.

The male pedestrian, who was believed to have been walking outside of a marked crosswalk, was hit by a 2015 Honda Civic driven by 43-year-old Marianne Hall of Fullerton as he was crossing north of Santa Fe Avenue.

Hall, who was driving southbound on Lemon Street at the time of the collision, fled the scene after the crash.

The pedestrian sustained critical injuries in the wreck. He was rushed to a local hospital, where he was sadly pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, Hall returned to the scene shortly after the accident. Police arrested her and was charged with one count of felony hit-and-run causing great bodily injury or death.

The cause of the fatal accident is still under investigation.
